The traditional Monumental Serenata opens Porto's Queima das Fitas at midnight on May 3. Thousands of students gather in Praça Gonçalves Zarco to sing the traditional Fado do Estudante, followed by the Cortagem parade through the city centre. One of Porto's most beloved traditions.
